Firefox-3 Fullscreen strangeness on Ubuntu Intrepid (8.10)

Finally got around to upgrading my laptop to Intrepid. All seems to be fine except that when I started firefox (3.0) it took up the full screen, covering the Ubuntu panels and was missing it’s title bar. When you F11 fullscreen and then F11 back, it gets you the title bar back and it doesn’t take up the whole screen, but the title bar is still grayed out and it’s not ideal. Doesn’t really solve the problem.

Turns out it’s a Compiz issue – in CompizConfig Settings Manager, under Workarounds, disable Legacy Fullscreen Support. Solves the Firefox problem. Doesn’t seem to have broken anything else so far.
